Puka Pūpū (poo kah poo poo) - Shell with a hole

Puka shells have a hole that is carved out naturally by the ocean. Puka shells are usually white, but can also be found in many other colors like tan, purple, brown.... even ones that have strips. Hawaiians give puka shells to offer the person who wears them, good luck and well wishes. If a puka shell necklace is given to a sailor, it's to help bring him safely home.

These puka shell bangles are great gift to wish someone well and are perfect for a beach lover. This listing is for ONE bangle bracelet but looks great layered with other bangle bracelets!

My wrist measures 6 inches around (measured where you would wear a wrist watch and snug) and it fits me perfectly.
The end of the wire is bent into a simple hook clasp, which ball end nestles securely into. These beach bangles are bent into an elegantly curved bracelet and is accented with one puka shell.

You can customize these puka shell bangles to suit your personal style with your choice of rose gold plated, gold plated, or silver-plated material.

As with all handmade jewelry, there will be slight variations in color, size, and shape as each bracelet is individually handcrafted and designed. These puka shells are natural, so no two are identical, and the shape may vary from the one pictured. Every shell is different, and each has its own unique combination of pattern and color that can vary.
