Kiko Pūpū Earrings (key koh poo poo) - Spotted Shell

These shell earrings were created using drupe shells that I have wire wrapped and suspended from kidney wires. A simple pair of earrings to give as a gift or a treat for yourself. The drupe shell has an interesting pattern and shape. The outer lip is toothed on the inside edge. Drupes range from the Indian Ocean East to the Northern shores of Australia and New Zealand. They are found near shore around inter tidal reefs and rocks. You can customize these shell earrings to suit your personal style and budget with your choice of sterling silver, 14k gold filled, gold plated, or silver-plated material.
